Solve circle: A tarot spread to solve a problem
One of the key themes of The Sceptic's Tarot is solving problems imaginatively. Your creative skills (yes, you have them!) and a deck of tarot cards should be all you need.
But how should you solve the problem? Do you use your intuition, or is a logical method better? And which aspects should you concentrate on?
You can tackle a problem in a variety of ways. Spreads at The Sceptic's Tarot help you:
- look at the problem from a different perspective (Another way to look at the problem is ..., Yes, BUT, and "This could change everything"),
- reflect on what you have and what you need (Building bridges),
- deal with challenges and obstacles (And But Therefore spread),
- focus on the positive (What is working well? Appreciative inquiry),
- come up with more than one solution so you can pick the most effective one (How else can I solve the problem?),
- study the causes and consequences of a problem (BeCAUSE and Consequences and solutions),
- go to the heart of the problem (The root of the problem),
- define the problem so that you have a clear idea what you're facing (What's my problem? and Find, define, solve), and even
- consider doing nothing at all (What if I do nothing?)
Here is a new spread that helps you evaluate a problem from both an intuitive and an analytical way.
- What is the problem?
- What do I need?
- What does my gut tell me I should do?
- What could be the consequence of relying on my gut to solve the problem?
- What does my logical mind tell me is the best thing to do?
- What could be the consequences of relying on my analytical side to solve the problem?
- What would be the best thing to do?
