Two sides of the same coin: A tarot technique

Navigating the maze: The Pathfinder spread

Mysterious pathThe Pathfinder spread is a practical tool for navigating intricate situations. Suppose:

  • you're in a new relationship, facing the first major disagreement,
  • you've made your first mistake in a new work environment,
  • your meticulously planned budget has encountered an unexpected snag,
  • you and your best friend have conflicting opinions on a significant life choice,
  • your teenager is acting weirdly (more than usual, I mean).

When you're faced with these tricky situations, especially when they involve other people, you need to go forward carefully. This is where your tarot cards come in!

Set up four cards like this:

Spread 4 cards in a pyramid

  1. Problem: What has gone wrong?
  2. Investigation: Why did it happen?
  3. Correction: What can you do?
  4. Prevention: How to make sure it never happens again.

The middle of the pyramid is "Prevention." This is where you record what you have learned and how to prevent similar problems from happening in the future.

You're welcome to share what you have learned!
